New casinos expand in Polish cities despite stringent regulations.

POLISH gambling industry players have unveiled plans to set up new casinos in Kielce and Lodz. However, expansion plans by local companies have been hampered by the municipal authorities of various cities, including Zakopane and Gliwice, which have refused to grant the entities permission to operate.

Moreover, Poland’s stringent gambling regulations halt the industry’s development by limiting the number of casinos that can operate in a city to one establishment per 250,000 inhabitants.
