Pentasia presents another remote opening with a very established and prominent partner, a group whom run two brands side by side. Both brands are in need of a JS Web Developer!
The Web Applications Developer will be part of the creation of custom front-end components and engaging web admins. In this role you'd have the chance to work closely with an international and highly skilled team.
Location: Remote B2B (CET +/-3 hours) OR payroll and permanent employment based in Malta, Serbia.
This is a good opportunity to work with a highly innovative and creative team, in a great working environment using the latest technologies, methodologies, and frameworks including Angular, Typescript and NgRx.
Responsibilities:
Understanding user experience prototypes and/or design mockups
Translating UI mockups into functional user interfaces using Angular 2+, Typescript, Redux and the AntDesign system.
Writing well designed, high quality and maintainable code for the e-commerce web platform and/or BMC Portal.
Assuring the highest attainable level of system control and performance capabilities by periodically reviewing staging and production environments as well as client-side performance and proactively improve on it.
Accountable and responsible, while making sure tasks are completed to a high-quality standard complete with a good set of unit tests
Able to work on own initiative and question the status quo when challenged with an obstacle.
Diligent with managing tasks and making sure the delivery is on time
An ideal skillset might look like:
Strong experience in basic web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
Experience with typed JavaScript and any modern front-end framework (Angular experience is considered a plus)
Experience with state management such as Redux/Flux/Akita
Experience in writing unit tests
Experience with LESS/SASS or other CSS preprocessors
Experience working with design systems
Experience in building scalable web applications
Knowledge of Node.js and surrounding tooling
Familiar with Agile (Scrum, or Kanban) Development
Familiar with CICD tools such as Jenkins/Gitlab, Artifactory, etc.
Good knowledge of working with version control (git)
