The Role

My client is currently seeking a strong Frontend Developer who will help them to keep building top-notch products. You will be developing a diverse set of web apps in JS, React, and Angular that is used by a large and passionate group of users daily. Your ability to create scalable, maintainable, and performant software is critical to the entire company's success. In your role, you will be deeply engaged in the entire Agile development lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and monitoring. They are looking for team players who can deliver imaginative solutions under real deadline constraints. You will be a part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to the same mission. Day In the Life:

    Writing clean, well-organised, testable, and reusable code

    Building efficient, well-tested User Interface, and User Experience components

    Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks with other engineers to consistently improve performance

    Ability to be occasionally on call

    Take direction from the Senior Software Engineer on features, while working with the Team to ensure the technical aspects fit our technical goals

Who you are/what you bring:

    7+ years of development experience in web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS, JS)

    4+ years of development experience in modern JS frameworks (React, JSS, Angular)

    Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git

    Ability to participate in code reviews, design reviews and over the shoulder debugging

    Ability to deliver software as part of a team

    Demonstrated expertise with responsive design principles

    Bachelor’s degree in a technical major preferred

    In-depth experience in Node.JS

    In-depth experience in React Native

    In-depth knowledge in WebSockets

    Working knowledge of Docker

    Client / Server development experience

    Java / Spring Framework

    Database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
