InfoSec and Data Governance Officer

A very exciting technology business in the iGaming sector is looking to hire into the Compliance team. This role will be located on the Isle of Man.

As an InfoSec and Data Governance Officer, you will build and implement the information security and data governance program to comply with privacy, confidentiality, and information-security related laws and regulations, and company policies and objectives; promoting quality and management of the protection of sensitive data and information assets.

You will respond to data security incidents and enhance the company's data security incident response plan. The scope of information governance encompasses personal information, company information, systems and infrastructure. You’ll have good understanding of GDPR Regulations and other privacy laws as well as in-depth knowledge of ISO27001.

You’ll report to VP Compliance and assist her in implementing and monitoring the efficiencies of Huddle’s Compliance Strategy in the information security and data governance areas.

Required:

BA/BS degree in business or related field, or a combination of education and related experience providing equivalent knowledge
Information Security related education or accreditations
Broad knowledge in different technology domains (network, endpoints, cloud computing, application architecture), IT security concepts and security organization structures
Experience applying effective processes and controls to comply with industry standards, regulations and audits, such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, OWASP
Experience working in a technology organisation with a fast paced, product engineering culture
Experience delivering certifications and owning the management of security risks
Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Experience within sports betting or gaming company (strong plus).
Excellent report writing skills and the ability to present and articulate complex data in a clear and intuitive way.
Working knowledge of information management and protection laws (DPA, GDPR), regulations, and best practices.
Information governance experience, including in the areas of personal information, company information, systems, and infrastructure.
