NOC Engineer

Location: Tbc, Malta
Salary: Competitive | Ref: 30584


More NOCs needed to join 24/7 team in Malta. You will be strong on the technical side of things, with a personality attuned to problem solving issues, including for casino and sportsbook systems.

Your Main Duties

    Provide consistent and frequent monitoring of servers, production networks, applications and services
    Be on the ball and react quickly to incidents, outages and performance alerts
    Troubleshoot the correct issues for tech/operational teams
    Script execution and deployment of patches
    Be the P-O-C for all production issues
    Provide maintenance and ideas for improvement for the ticketing system
    Make sure customers and third parties are aware of issues and outages
    Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation schedule being; day, night, rest, off

Experience & Skills:

    Prior experience in a 24×7 mission critical environment
    Basic knowledge of operating systems admin (Linux, Windows) and also basic database admin skills (SQL)
    Some knowledge of network troubleshooting
    Ability to multitask and prioritise important tasks
    Willing to work shifts including weekends, in a 24/7/365 NOC environment
