Head of Digital Operations
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Salary: Negotiable + bonus and relocation package | Ref: 29873
We are recruiting for a Head of Digital Operations to be based in Baku, Azerbaijan on a 12 or 24 month rolling contract.
The salary is negotiable depending on experience and the ideal candidate will speak fluent English with one other of the following languages; Turkish, Russian or Azeri.
The company will offer a good relocation package including; housing/accommodation, company car, health insurance, schooling (if required), 4 x flights home per year.
Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will have responsibility for creating & executing the Go to Market strategy and defining initiatives towards consumers and lottery gaming/sports betting/virtual games portfolio. This position is part of the management to evaluate and develop business and to drive change using the big data that is related to lottery gaming/sports betting/virtual games products performance.
Responsibilities

Full accountability for digital/online operations, including content, product, customer acquisition and retention

Full responsibility for profit, revenue and quality targets

Lead and build the digital team

Develop, execute & manage the digital channel business strategy and consumer initiatives aimed to meet business objectives

Work closely with the internal and external teams to identify & maximise the profitability of all online campaigns across all customer life stages & identify trends through strong analysis, planning and execution

Define and implement the commercial incentives, offers; initiate targeted promotions to maximise the digital/online channel profit

Activation of initiatives to support in meeting strategic objectives

Have an analytical and technical approach to marketing techniques, implement KPI's and report on product profit & loss and product portfolio profitability using data

Do the market analysis, conduct research on competitors to identify current trends in different markets and define overall improvements to the offering

Define and launch new products and Innovate and maintain product portfolio through initiatives addressed to consumers, with ultimate objective to guarantee each year adequate turnover with respect to regulations, consumer protection and responsible gaming

Provide analysis and reporting of lottery, gaming and sportsbook verticals and suggest improvements

Define and implement a marketing strategy for the digital channel, coordinating internal and external marketing resources

Recognise and provide insights on business trends, barriers, risks and opportunities that may impact the business within the online lottery & sports betting environment
Profile & Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in either Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field

Well spoken and written English, preferable also Turkish, Azeri, Russian

+ 7 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the gaming sector or digital in a multinational environment (experience in Azerbaijan is an asset)

Deep understanding of the digital lottery gaming/sports betting market

Experience in a start-up is a plus
