Senior Java Developer - Tallinn

Location: Tallinn - Hybrid, Estonia
Salary: €60k gross/year | Ref: 35039

My client in the iGaming industry is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join their fast-growing company in Tallinn, Estonia.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to focus on designing and implementing effective solutions for software delivery and operations by streamlining and automating processes.

 Working schedule: Hybrid - Tallin, Estonia (3 days on / 2 days off)

As a Senior Java Engineer your responsibilities will include:

    Collaborating with an Agile team to design and implement new features.
    Engaging in code reviews and pair programming to maintain high code quality.
    Adhering to and promoting best engineering practices.
    Mentoring team members to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of projects.
    Embracing a DevOps mindset, including building, testing, deploying, and monitoring new software.
    Identifying opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

    5+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
    5+ years of experienece with Spring/Springboot and Microservices.
    5+ years of experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or ActiveMQ.
    Understand database concepts, NoSQL databases and CI/CD.

Nice to have skills include:

    Experience working with infrastructure As Code using Terraform (or similar).
    DevOps culture - build, test, deliver and monitor new software.
    Automating everything where possible.
