Business Intelligence Analyst

My client, a leading company in the iGaming industry, is looking for a skilled, data-driven individual with a passion for sports to join our Data Team as a Business Intelligence Analyst (Sports).

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of sportsbook data and insights, becoming the primary point of contact for sportsbook data.
• Assist in integrating data from feed providers with the Rootz platform.
• Ensure data quality assurance by monitoring data and implementing reconciliation processes.
• Define relevant KPIs to monitor sportsbook performance.
• Visualise performance metrics through insightful dashboards for end users to make data-driven decisions.
• Develop player segmentation models and integrate them into existing automation processes on our platform.
• Support the CRM team by analyzing customer data, identifying trends, and recommending targeted marketing strategies to enhance player engagement, retention, and optimise bonus costs.
• Assist the sportsbook team with any ad hoc data requests.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Deep understanding of Sportsbook Product and Sports Trading.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Previous experience with odds feed providers.
• Profound comprehension of variables impacting Sportsbook profitability.
• Experience with dashboarding tools.
• Strong communication skills with business stakeholders and external providers.
• Experience in gap analysis and defining requirements.
• Experience interacting with APIs.

Considerable Advantages:

• Experience with Clickhouse DBMS.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Scripting skills in Python/R/Go.
• Familiarity with Confluence/Jira.
