Cashless payment systems provider Nayax has added the mobile app Twint as a payment option.
The company continues to add popular payment platforms to its card readers to give consumers more choice. Its products are compatible with many cashless methods, namely credit and debit cards, EMV chip cards, NFC payments and QR codes.
The app joins Nayax’s mobile payment choices such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay, Google Pay, Wechat Pay, Alipay and Paytm. Cashless payments and smartphones are commonplace across Europe and the Swiss-developed app combines these two popular forms with its mobile payment service.
In Switzerland, Twint enjoys wide popularity and is a commonly accepted payment method, including for machines, attended and unattended. Now, when paying at an automated machine like a vending machine, laundromat or kiosk, a consumer can choose Twint, a payment app they may use regularly.
