This edition features a 42ins LCD monitor rendered with Unreal Engine technology.

It is also possible to connect two units together to allow friends to play in co-op mode, in which players need to work together to contribute to the success of the mission.

Players must destroy enemy spacecraft using the flight stick controls and throttle to gain points, while destroying multiple targets in quick succession earns combo bonuses. Players’ scores and performance are determined after each stage.

James Anderson, sales and commercial director, said: “This new version of the cabinet broadens the market for the product. With a smaller footprint it can fit into more locations. The two player co-op mode has helped to increase the income in the test locations.”
