Raw Thrills has announced the release of an upgrade kit for its King Kong of Skull Island VR game.
King Kong of Skull Island II is the sequel expansion kit to the original and will include a software update drive, a new security dongle and a new cabinet artwork package.
The update includes two new chapters, titled Tri Trouble and Into The Deep, which will see players trek even further into the forests of Skull Island, where they encounter a huge Triceratops, before making their way into the waters surrounding the island and attempting a rescue of the captured King Kong.
Players will also now have access to the slingshot weapon, which can be used to defend themselves against the dangerous creatures on Skull Island.
For operators, the update includes a new attract mode, as well as a modified tutorial, with help messages now occurring during gameplay, rather than slowing down the experience.
The update was first unveiled at IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, US, in 2023.
