American Pinball has announced its latest table which will pay tribute to its designer, Barry Oursler.
Barry O’s BBQ Challenge is that last table from Oursler that will commemorate his 46-year career in game design.
American Pinball says that the new game “captures the essence of summer fun and embodies the spirt of neighbourhood BBQ festivals across America.”
The game will come in two editions, limited and classic, with royalties from both given to his estate. The limited edition will feature just 100 units.
Featuring a number of nods to BBQ culture such as "Spinner Sauce", sweepable drop targets and bash locks, the game was developed by a team including Steven Bowden, Joe Schober and Casey Butler. It also includes commentary by pinball player and voice actor Jeff Teolis.
