Multimorphic has launched its new pinball game, Portal, based on the hit first-person puzzle-platform video game that was first developed by Valve in 2007.

The table’s gameplay begins in ‘the Hub’ which is themed from Portal 2’s Cooperative Testing Initiative location. Players are encouraged to complete the seven unique test chambers, including The Big Fling, Encouragement via Discouragement, Proactive Energy Redirection, It Takes Two, Shortcuts, Gels and Rat Man’s Den.
Once players complete the seven chambers, they can battle GLaDOS ,voiced by Ellen McLain, the voice actress who played the character in both of the Portal games. GLaDOS is the AI antagonist who taunts you throughout the game.
When not in a specific chamber, guests can increase their score in the Hub by completing eight different objectives and three stackable Multiball Modes.
There are two editions of the game, Portal Standard and Portal Extended. Both editions include the same upper playfield and game software, but the extended edition adds an extension that brings the gameplay closer to the flippers, adding a physical spinner, four physical targets, a third dynamic ramp, the hidden gel tube kickback mechanism and the elevated, cross-playfield Hard Light Bridge experience. The extended edition also adds a fourth flipper.
The game is for Multimorphic’s P3 machine and is available on a new machine pre-installed or as a game kit for those already who already own the table.
