Astrosystems will be exhibiting at ACOS for the first time this year with a range of Microcoin and GBA products.
These will include the Microcoin SP coin validator, which has proved popular in the UK as a coin mech for the pool table industry as well as with the jukebox and kiddy ride sectors. Key features in the SP include a high level of reliability and a jam release mechanism.
Additional features include a bonus credit system and remote downloading of firmware and software. As a further optional extra, the SP can also be fitted with a 115mm faceplate displaying a blue illuminated coin slot.
Having worked closely with The Royal Mint, Astrosystems has been able to support customers with the integration of the new 12 sided £1 coin, which was launched earlier this year. The latest config for the Microcoin SP and QL coin mechanisms, which covers the full UK coin set, is readily available, with the option of sending units in for re-programming at the Repairs and Service Centre based at the company's offices in Wantage, Oxfordshire.
