Zhongshan Golden Dragon is one of several Chinese manufacturers exhibiting at the DEAL show in Dubai this week.
The company’s Eric Sim told InterGame: “There are less people here than there were last year, but despite this we have had a lot of inquiries.” He added that the company was doing increased business in the Middle East as operators in the region turned more and more to the purchase of equipment from China.
“As the quality of Chinese products has improved, so has the potential for Chinese manufacturers to do good business in the Middle East region,” said Sim. The company sells direct all across the Middle East but would not rule out appointing a distributor. “It would have to be the right partnership,” said Sim.
Golden Dragon was showing a brand new game at DEAL. Space Aliens has been developed in conjunction with a US game developer and Sim said that operators reaction during the Dubai show was “positive and encouraging.”
