In war-torn Yemen not all is unhappy, it seems.

Save the Children the charity in conjunction with local social workers took a large group of children to visit an amusement park in the capital, Sanaa.

The children, who have no school available to them at the present time of crisis, spent a full day having fun at the park. Around 80 per cent of the population of Yemen, according to the United Nations, desperately need humanitarian aid and at least 300,000 children are malnourished.
