Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood is now under construction.
The Mario-based attraction will be along similar lines to that at the Osaka, Japan, park that has yet to reopen. The Japanese version is hoped for opening this autumn.
The California version will be the second in the US – the other is currently stalled at Universal Orlando in Florida and there are long-term plans for a Super Nintendo World at the Universal Singapore site.
Reports suggest that one of the features of the new Hollywood park will be that it will offer power-up bands that can be used to collect coins throughout the park.
