Warren Friss, formerly vice president and general manager of sports and entertainment firm The Topps Company, has joined leading US photo booth manufacturer Apple Industries as president.

Apple Industries founder and CEO, Allen Weisberg, said: "We’re very pleased to be able to bring Warren on board to lead us going forward. His business and legal experience will be extremely helpful in executing the exciting growth initiatives that are in process and in developing new revenue streams for the company." Friss added: "I couldn’t be more excited about joining Apple Industries. They have a great team in place, an outstanding line of products and several excellent new products in the pipeline."

In addition to managing the day-to-day business, Friss will be focused on bringing new products to market and developing new business concepts to generate growth for Apple. In his previous position at Topps, he was responsible for all activities within its sports and entertainment division. In that role, Warren developed and successfully executed a five-year strategic plan to revitalise the sports card business after a 15-year decline.
