Disneyland Paris’ second park, Walt Disney Studios Park, in Marne-la-Vallée, France, is being reimagined and named Disney Adventure World.
The opening will be in sequence with the World of Frozen opening with construction is currently underway.
The Adventure Way promenade will feature new experiences, attractions and enhancements themed around Disney stories.
Adventure Bay will host the homes of Anna and Elsa from the Frozen series, complete with lighting, music and fountains as well as an entertainment stage and 360 degree viewing area. Ther will be a family attraction themed around the Tangled movies, named Raiponce Tangled Spin.
There will also be light shows, theatre plays inspired by movies and a restaurant overseeing the parks. There will also be a merchandise store on site.
On the Disney Parks Blog, Natacha Rafalski, president of Disneyland Paris states: “Embracing a transformation that involves the overhaul of more than 90 per cent of Walt Disney Studios Park since its debut in 2002, we’re unveiling a fresh creative vision that has completely redefined our second gate. It’s set to offer unique adventures in immersive worlds, serving as a perfect complement to Disneyland Park.”
