VRstudios, the provider of free-roaming, multiplayer virtual reality solutions for location-based entertainment businesses, today announced smaller arenas for its VRcade Powerplay product.

VRstudios offers smaller esports footprint

Following the release of its eight-player VRcade Arena, Powerplay is now available for smaller arenas supporting match play between two to six players. It is available as a turnkey solution and a new attraction for existing Optitrack-based arenas.

The system is powered by the VRcade's Attraction Management Platform, which centralises integration of system technologies, attraction content, operations, performance analytics and remote support.

VRstudios is offering the combination of the two products as an esports solution.

“With multiple configurations of Powerplay, we are bringing the next generation of esports to all LBE venues,” said Chanel Summers, VRstudios’ vice president of creative development.

She said each arena size provides a different Powerplay esports experience, as various configurations encourage different team strategies and manoeuvres, pace of play and physical movement.
