A VR racing and escape rooms venue opened recently in McHenry, Illinois, US.
Guests at RaceTime VR Racing and Escape Rooms can enjoy racing simulation sessions and there are adult and child escape rooms, reports shawlocal.com
The location has 10 racing rigs and guests have a choice of up to seven different races - competing alone or against friends - at one time.
Players can interact with the games by either watching the screens like a traditional video gaming experience, or they can put on the Meta Quest 2 VR gaming helmet for a complete virtual experience.
The VR headsets are also part of the virtual reality escape rooms. Rather than getting locked in a room, the players don the headsets and are given controllers to hold. The headsets transport players into an animated, computer-generated world.
