An all-in-one virtual reality headset optimised for theme parks and FECS is being released next week at IAAPA in Florida.

VR on park rides

VR Coasters has partnered with Sensics to develop the RideVR headset, which can be used on rollercoasters.

The companies claim that the system is a low-cost way to upgrade existing rides and so far more than 40 parks have been equipped.

The next-generation solution to the principle of using mobile VR headsets on rides - a patent held by VR Coasters - RideVR ensures higher throughput, a headset with an inexpensive face mask, which is hypo-allergenic, reusable and with no overheating, among a number of features.
