Immotion, the out-of-home virtual reality manufacturer, has appointed Kyle Villella as its North American sales director.

He has worked with comparable systems to virtual reality having previously served as vice president of distribution for Fathom Events – a home cinema experiences provider.
Before that, he was director of sales for nWave Pictures, where he sold and distributed 3D and large format content to zoos, aquariums, science centres and theme parks.
He also held positions at Lionsgate Films, Paramount Pictures, LD Entertainment and has consulted for Universal Studios Hollywood and Trafalgar Releasing.
Rod Findley, group commercial director of Immotion, said: “It’s important to have someone with deep experience across verticals as we expand our location-based VR offering across a wide range of venues in the US and Canada.”
Villella said: “Immotion has all the ingredients to be the leader in the out-of-home VR entertainment industry for the world. The ongoing efforts have yielded amazing results.”
