The specialist installer has a considerable reputation in the US industry already and now the UK-based company will launch a new interactive kiosk technology to help transform FECs.  It has built a reputation already with its VAvR technology that has won awards.

The new POS, cashless payments system is powered by Evogence, an IoT (Internet of Things) experiential technology provider with many top brands to its name including Nestlé and Chrysler.

The POS kiosk will enable a more seamless integration between the FEC sector, including bowling.

Ventola Projects founder Mick Ventola said: “What we’re seeing now is the next phase of the bowling industry being transformed into a wider entertainment experience. You already had this landscape somewhat pre pandemic – bowling, food, arcades, laser tag in one place for example, but now it’s being accelerated at quite a pace.

“If you want to survive today as bowling operator, you can’t just be a one-trick pony, not after the pandemic, when competition will be fierce. You have to cater a wide range of age groups and interests, and crucially, all at the same time.

“So what we’re aiming to do is enable this transition a little more easily with kiosk technology – an interactive booth while you bowl and book food at the same time, take a photo with friends, and book your laser tag all without having to leave the bowling seating area.

“It takes the pressure off staff trying to manage multiple requests at the same time at traditional booking desks, and makes the process just so seamless and satisfying to the customer and the operator.”
