After a four-year battle, Belgian pusher manufacturer VdW International, has won a legal action in the Dutch courts against a Chinese company for copying VdW’s Fun City 6 pusher.
The action began in 2008 against a European distributor in the Netherlands importing the Treasure Island machine from China. In the Dutch court in Groningen, VdW won a ruling that Treasure Island is a copy of the Fun City.
The ruling goes against KMG Asia BV from the Netherlands, which sold Treasure Island. The court said that KMG must no longer produce or sell Treasure Island or similar pushers.
