With the second Visitor Attraction Expo taking place at ExCel London on January 12-14, the organisers are aiming to build upon the successes of the inaugural event.

Visitor Attractions Expo

Promoted by BALPPA with the support of BACTA, VAE 2016 is aimed at operators of indoor and adventure play, attractions, piers, zoos, parks and FECs.

Organiser Karen Cooke has revealed an increase in enquiries from potential exhibitors, with recent signings including Polar Krush, GFT Retail, Top Tix and Mich Playground.

The Visitor Attraction Expo will again take place alongside EAG International, with visitors encouraged to move freely between the two shows. The combined events will showcase products from more than 300 represented companies and will include several European product launches.

The VAE website is now open for registration and visitors are being urged to book their travel plans well in advance.

Cooke explained: “January is peak time at ExCel, with nearby hotels and restaurants under pressure. The London Boat Show will also be coinciding with VAE and EAG International. We would recommend that visitors register and make their travel plans as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary costs and disappointment.”

Registration is via the show’s website - www.attractionsexpo.co.uk - along with access to some competitive hotel rates and useful travel advice.
