US venues closing again

A spike in Covid-19 infections has resulted in a rash of closures of bars and games operations in several US states.

Reclosing bars in Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Florida and Idaho – all named as hotspots of reinfection – has muted the US industry’s relief that it can reopen.

While this has hit at single-site locations such as bars and taverns, there is no news yet of FECs and arcades being forced to close again, says the US trade magazine RePlay.
