A new mini-golf course is expected to open in Bluffton, South Carolina by the summer.

The Lighthouse Lagoon Mini Golf course will feature 18 holes themed around South Carolina’s Lowcountry with palmetto trees and a lighthouse to resemble the one on nearby Hunting Island.

Owners, father and son Billy and Collin Hubbard, told islandpacket.com they felt Bluffton “didn’t have enough outdoor family activities” and that "mini-golf is something that everyone can do. So, we’re excited to bring something for everyone.”

The site will include a 1,300sq.ft building that will provide clubs and balls, concessions and restrooms, and an 840sq.ft pavilion with seating for up to 40 guests.

The first nine holes of the course will be wheelchair accessible.
