Urban Air Adventure Parks CEO Michael Browning is trying to get the company’s employees fixed up with temporary Amazon placements.

With all Urban Air parks shut to promote social distancing amid the Covid-19 outbreak, Browning wrote to his 12,000 park employees to detail a partnership with Amazon to provide part-time employment across the US starting as quickly as seven days’ time following the completion of an application form.

“Amazon wants you to know they welcome you to be part of the Amazon team until things return to normal at Urban Air and we are able to bring you back,” he wrote.

“Amazon is opening new full and part-time positions across the US in its fulfilment centres and delivery network to meet the surge in demand from people relying on Amazon’s service during this stressful time, particularly those most vulnerable to being out in public.

“Health and safety are a top priority with all of the Amazon roles and sites. Amazon will continue to consult with medical and health experts and take all recommended precautions in its buildings and stores to keep people healthy. It has taken measures to promote social distancing in the workplace and taken on enhanced and frequent cleaning, to name just a few.”
