The Odeon Cinema in Blackpool, England, may be turned into a trampoline park with indoor golf or bowling, following speculation that it will close next year.
Planning documents lodged with the local authority show the cinema’s lease will expire in June of 2023, raising concerns that it may not be renewed, reports local news site LancsLive.
Astringer Capital, owner of Festival Park where the Odeon is situated, is seeking planning permission for change of use at the cinema to indoor sport, recreation or fitness with F&B on the ground floor.
