The United Distributing Company from the UK won the award for the best foreign company stand at the IAAPI trade show, which opened its doors in Mumbai, India, yesterday.
It was the third year in succession that UDC had won the award and its managing director, Derek Horwood, said he was 'delighted' at the trio of wins. His son, Mark, is in India heading the UDC team for what the company regards as an important emerging market for coin-operated games. Namco came second in the category.
The IAAPI show is being held at the Mumbai Exhibition Centre and is attended by a number of western supply companies. The show concludes tomorrow.
