UDC is to host an event in collaboration with Electrocoin, which will be held on the original January dates for EAG 2022.
The major UK-based trade show recently had its dates switch from January 11-13 to March 1-3, as a reaction to increasing Covid-19 concerns.
UDC and Electrocoin’s event, the Park Avenue 2022 EAG Preview, will also be held in London – at Park Avenue.
There is no registration required for the event, but UDC has asked for a “heads up” from anyone looking to attend. It will not be open to the general public.
Both companies will be showing off products at the event, with Covid-19 safety measures firmly in place.
Mark Horwood, managing director at UDC, said: “We’ve got customers who want to get their orders in early to ensure delivery for half-term and Easter.
"With the global supply chain causing all sorts of delays recently, it’s best to be prepared and ready early to avoid disappointment when the holidays come around.”
John A Stergides, of Electrocoin, added: “[We] are excited to be a part of the Park Avenue 2022 EAG Preview and have visitors see our latest games in January, rather than needing to wait until March.”
Both companies are hoping the English capital will be free of new pandemic restrictions, enabling the event to proceed.
