The Canadian immersive amusement manufacturer Triotech’s latest attraction, The Flyer – San Francisco, opened officially earlier in January and has been received with enthusiasm from customers.

Triotech’s Flyer performing well

The ride takes guests of all ages soaring over the Bay Area’s biggest attractions and iconic landmarks with views that cannot be experienced in any other way.

Customisable to operator’s needs, space constraints and anticipated customer traffic, The Flyer offers a world of possibilities. As Triotech has its own in-house studio, custom films can be developed to create many concepts of flying theatre experience – discovering the biggest cities, an immersive ride above the ocean, or even in the world of some well-known intellectual property.

“We define ourselves as ‘creators of wow moments,’” explained Ernest Yale, founder and CEO of Triotech. “For The Flyer – San Francisco, we used a romantic storyline to enhance the guest experience. And as we use motion seats, as opposed to platforms that are used by other technologies, each guest experiences a thrilling, realistic and immersive ride.”

“This type of attraction could definitively become popularised across many global cities as a new form of sightseeing, similar to the obligatory hop-on-hop-off bus tour or sightseeing cruise,” said Stefan Merkl from Kirmes and Park Revue International. "And Triotech’s solution to flying theatres, as it doesn’t require complex lift systems, allows them to be created in urban spaces that many times have confined barriers and can be tricky to work with, such as the remodeled theatre space at Pier 39.”
