The ride, named Into The Deep, will feature exclusive media content developed entirely by Triotech’s team for the new attraction. It will be installed at the new Six Flags Qiddiya City park, which is currently under construction and will be the first Six Flags park designed and built outside of North America.

Planned to reside in the Discovery Springs area of the park, the experience will span more than 26,000sq.ft.

In the attraction, guests will undertake an underwater expedition, riding side-by-side in four person vehicles that feature fast rotation and acceleration. Nine different scenes will immerse riders in the story with numerous special effects.

Ernest Yale, president and CEO of Triotech, said: “Our global leadership in interactive experiences and our proven track record in providing turnkey attractions positioned us to help deliver a unique ride for Six Flags Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.

“Our dedicated team is excited to be involved in such a unique and ground-breaking endeavour.”

Six Flags Qiddiya City will cover more than 320,000sq.m and will feature 28 different rides and attractions. It is part of the wider Qiddiya City project which aims to bring entertainment, sports and culture together in one city under Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030 programme.
