Dundee City Council will now consider plans for a 37,000sq.ft trampoline park, located in the north of the city.

The aerial sports park, set to share space with the city’s successful Soccerworld, will see an investment of around £1.5m and will help bring a further 60 new jobs to the local community.

Ryze, which already has two successful properties in Edinburgh and Glasgow and which is committed to bringing an outlet to Dundee, is part of the Circus Trix brand, which has more than 70 parks across the globe.

The project will also see the construction of Dundee’s first purpose-built indoor parkour area, along with an aerial ninja obstacle course, super trampolines, foam pits, dodgeball and hanging bags.

Scott Fairgrieve, managing partner of Ryze, said: “Trampolining and aerial sports are activities that everyone can take part in and our plans for Dundee will see a fantastic development alongside Soccerworld, creating a world-class leisure destination that will provide both a safe and extremely fun environment.

“Not only will Ryze be an additional attraction for the city’s growing tourism industry, the park will have much wider economic and employment benefit, bringing a number of job opportunities to the area - something that we are extremely proud of.

“We have exciting plans for Ryze Dundee and look forward to realising them.”
