Nearly 500 conference attendees and vendors from 20 countries took part in the 5th Annual Conference and Trade Show of the trampoline association at the Westin Mission Hills, California, US.

The three-day event reflected the growth globally of the indoor trampoline park industry.

The International Association of Trampoline Parks, the sponsor, ran sessions for technicians as well as seminars on legislative and regulatory issues, risk management, operations, maximising revenues from concessions, insurance and other aspects of trampoline operations.

IATP chairman David Schaeffer said: “Over the last five years, we have worked hard to establish the IATP as the recognised authority for the indoor trampoline park industry. We will continue to raise the bar for our industry by requiring parks to meet certain standards and criteria as set forth by the committees governing specific regions. Our goal is to provide mothers, fathers, school groups and all patrons with a level of comfort when they see our IATP logo on the door of their local trampoline park and I think we are on track to achieve that goal.”

The IATP also welcomed incoming board member Darren Hedges, founder of AirHop, increasing international board presence. AirHop currently operates in the United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden.
