The Original Bowling Company has completed the acquisition of fellow UK-based bowling operator Bowlplex.
The news follows the satisfaction of undertakings to the Competition and Markets Authority to dispose of six bowling centres. These have been sold to Essenden, the operator of the Tenpin chain of bowling centres.
TOBC now operates 54 tenpin bowling centres across the UK, primarily located in leisure or retail parks under the Hollywood Bowl and AMF brands.
