Youka Nagase from Time Out Tokyo has released a list of her most recommended theme parks in Japan.

The first five entries on the list were Tokyo Disneyland; water and ice-themed Tokyo DisneySea, the only park of its kind in the world; Universal Studios Japan; the Ghibli Park, which officially licenses fantastical worlds from the Studio Ghibli films; and the anime-themed Nijigen no Mori, licensing Godzilla and Naruto IP for its attractions.
Other entries in Nagase's list were the Guinness World Record-breaking Fuji-Q Highland, home to 1996's tallest rollercoaster in the world; "Japan's biggest theme park", the Toei Kyoto Studio Park, a former major movie studio; and the oldest amusement park in Japan, Hanayashiki.
Nagase also shone a spotlight on the upcoming Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo, which will immerse visitors in a labyrinth of real Harry Potter props and set pieces. The upcoming attraction takes the place of "beloved" amusement park Toshimaen, which closed its doors in 2020 after 94 years.
