Children’s play specialist Timberplay has won the Best Trade Supplier award at the highly-respected National Farm Attraction Network annual awards in the UK.

Timberplay won the award following the creation of a bespoke adventure play park at Odds Farm in High Wycombe. NFAN is the trade association for farm parks and rural attractions within the UK and has over 200 members and 100 trade members.
The association represents the interests of farm attractions at a national level. The awards celebrate excellence in the sector and recognise the innovators of new attractions, those who provide outstanding education and the companies that supply their members.
The chairman of NFAN, Colin Evans, said on the evening: “The judges were impressed by the quality of Timberplay’s products, the innovative use of natural materials and the way they support their customers throughout installation and beyond.”
As part of the work at Odds Farm, Timberplay created an Adventure Play Fort incorporating a large play unit which could be used for play, role play and performance play by children and adults. Using Mountain Larch, a slow-growing species which offers unrivalled strength and durability, with steel feet, the play fort was created to withstand high usage and harsh weather conditions.
Ben Harbottle, sales director at Timberplay, commented: “It is such an honour to win this award. We have a large amount of respect for the farming industry and now to be recognised for the work that we do is fantastic. We are thankful for the opportunity to showcase our products and produce creative play areas for visitors.
“Thank you to Odds Farm for their support in our award win; we look forward to continuing our success in the farm industry.” Timberplay are UK suppliers of Richter Spielgeräte, world-renowned manufacturers of hand-crafted play equipment.
