One of the Middle East's biggest FEC operators, Fun City, part of the Landmark Group, has given its chain of locations a 'facelift' and opened three new centres.

The fresh locations are in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, while existing centres are upgraded and refreshed to fall into line with the Fun City vision of ‘spreading a smile on every face.’

Head of the operation, Silvio Liedtke, who joined the company in 2010, has embarked upon a plan to give a major new look and feel to existing centres. The Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, Oasis Centre in Dubai, Lamcy Plaza in Dubai and Bawadi Mall in Al Ain, have all undergone extensive refurbishment with new machines, activities and rides - plus an XD theatre.  The ‘Fun ‘n’ Learn’ installations have also been upgraded.

The chain’s video game zone and redemption games have also seen reinvestment and a programme of upgrading prizes to the latest craze in characters and the introduction of high-level prizes such as iPad2, Blackberry 9900 and digital camera.

Fun City locations are now throughout the Middle East and in India and China.
