Entertainment and a theme park will be used to keep hundreds of thousands of football supporters happy during the Qatar World Cup.

A conference held last week in the Middle East country saw officials outline their plans to handle the great influx of fans, including how to keep them entertained.
Qatar Airways revealed more than ten projects developed with partners, including Qatar Tourism and other organisations.
An open-air concert programme named Qatar Live will be run throughout the football fixture list, with more than 60 international artists, plus beach clubs, fan zones and a music festival.
Qatar Airways recently became the presenting partner of Lusail Winter Wonderland, an entertainment and leisure destination in Qatar that is actually a theme park on Al Maha Island, in the heart of Qatar’s entertainment district.
It will open to the public in November, featuring over 50 rides and attractions, headed by a major flume ride, a giant ice slide, a 5G roller-coaster and a 150ft high Ferris Wheel.
