In the current technological age, advancements in mobile phones and cybersecurity have made it easier than ever for people to securely make a payment, whether it be by wafting their phone in the general direction of the card reader intended to complete their purchase, a bank transfer or an online purchase.
For some of the world’s population, cashless transactions are the new normal. For others this is all they have ever really known. The cashless revolution has become a part of everyday life, especially as cities across the world have added tap-on and tap-off systems to their public transport systems, a process that has recently been introduced to Greater Manchester, UK, the region that InterGame calls home.
