All that Karen Cooke of Swan Events would say towards the end of the first day of this week's ACOS event in London was that "numbers are up" in terms of footfall.

Further consolidation of the statistics would reveal by how much, but the show was clearly well attended as the day wore on.
ACOS is very much a networking event, said Cooke. “That’s it’s principal role and it works very well. Trade shows in this part of the year have always been successful; you only have to remember the old London Previews to see that.
“Suppliers have three months to wait for the main EAG event, so they need a few sales at this time to help them through and the reports we have seen coming in suggest that they are getting some sales.
"It is heartening to see that many of them have actually used the show to bring all-new product.”
Her co-director, Peter Rusbridge, said: “We have a limited amount of space here at the ILEX, but the exhibitors have worked well with us to show their products to best advantage and they see it as very much a networking event.
"The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and the party night, at the nearby Prince pub, is now one of the best social events on the UK industry’s calendar.”
They confirmed that the 2025 ACOS would be held at the same venue on October 21-22.
