IT is nothing if not interesting times for the UK. At the time of writing, the Queen has given her consent for a five-week suspension of parliament (known as proroguing), which will make it more straightforward for the Conservative Party to go ahead with a no-deal Brexit.

Meanwhile, the opposition are working tirelessly to stop this from being the case by attempting to trigger a vote of no-confidence in the government and ultimately a general election, which still may not derail Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s plans as he can schedule the vote until after the deadline.
