Major Italian producer of amusement games Tecnoplay is targeting the UK as one of its “tier one” markets, following the EAG show in London.

CEO Mauro Zaccaria said that the London event had been very successful for the company, maker of games such as Racecraft and Forest Jump. UK testing has shown consistently strong cash box performance.

“The UK is really important for Tecnoplay.,” Zaccaria said. “Not only is the amusements sector there quite strong and buoyant but players in the UK also have a real appreciation and appetite for the driving game. These two factors are critical in helping us to gauge the appeal and the potential of an export market.”

A four-year R&D programme, he said, has now beginning to show a return. “The development programme was quite long. However, the time that we spent getting the motion cabinet absolutely right and to the highest possible standards is paying dividends for our customers and for end-users who are benefitting from the delivery of an ultra-realistic and immersive driving experience.”
