Kuwait's largest indoor family entertainment centre has opened. Tamdeen Entertainment's first phase opened its doors with the second due to enter operation early in the New Year.
The location, when completed, will have three zones, Infinity for families, The Bowlroom and the Freeze Club. The bowling centre and the Freeze Club, designed for teenagers, are both now operational.
There are 20 Switch bowling lanes, of which 16 are open to the public and four are sectioned off as a VIP area. The Freeze Club is a café and games room with major pieces such as Maxflight and Outrun from Sega, plus driving and shooting galleries.
Infinity will contain a custom Spinning Coaster, 12m Drop Tower and two custom rides, plus a go-kart track and two soft play areas. Tamdeen’s overall theming is ‘timeless space’ and works in conjunction with LED walls.
Operator and manager John Becker (ex-MAF Dubai and ICE) uses the Intercard system to set different prices targeting the differing customer groups. The 300-plus games and attractions are all wireless and the three areas are linked to a central server and also with a movie theatre in the same venue to attract more walk-in traffic.
