Talarius, the UK’s largest operator of adult gaming centres, has made two new appointments as part of its People Agenda, a programme of initiatives designed to ensure that it creates the best possible team to support its future growth.

Andy Whitworth takes up the position of head of gaming strategy and Liam Dolan-Barr joins as human resources director.
Having previously been head of gaming at Talarius, Whitworth returns to the company after four years working across the globe, most recently as head of content strategy at SG Gaming. He will work with Talarius’ machines team to develop a long-term gaming strategy and create a strong pipeline of products.
Dolan-Barr joins the company from Homeserve, where he spent over three years as group HR and talent director.
“These are two very significant appointments and we are extremely excited to welcome both Andy and Liam on board,” said Peter Harvey, chief executive of Talarius. “Andy has been recruited to build on the strength of the existing machines team and I trust he will ensure that we consistently have great products at the very core of our customer proposition.
“However, customer experience is defined not only by the products available, but also by the quality of service in our venues. Our team members play a crucial role in ensuring the customers enjoy our facilities, keeping them coming back again and again, and Liam is the right person to make sure that they are equipped with the right skills to meet this challenge.”
