Alexander Funk has a vision: to take the sport of bowling and turn it into an arcade attraction. It won’t be a simple journey, but anyone that knows Funk Bowling will know that it has always been striving for the next innovation in the bowling space.
Founded in the 1960s, the company was famous for its string pinsetter technology. While this has seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years as bowling entertainment centres look for ways to replace complicated, expensive and old freefall machines, the company has been pioneering this technology for more than half a century.
