Taiwan attractions close as infections rise

All of the entertainment in Taiwan – including amusement arcades and family entertainment centres – has been closed down by government order.

The country has experienced a major outbreak of Covid-19, we are informed by our contacts in the country.

The island state has a deep-rooted mistrust of the Chinese vaccine and most of its population of 23 million people remain unvaccinated.
