Czech Republic-based manufacturer and operator Synot has launched its 10,000th video lottery terminal.

One of the first to enter the Czech and Slovak markets with a central lottery system back in 2004, Synot’s sales director Pavel Michalcio commented: "We operate approximately 8,000 machines in the Czech Republic and the remainder in Slovakia. We only choose games for our VLTs, which we are sure will catch the players’ attention and our experience in game development is reflected in all our titles."

An interactive central lottery system is technologically the most proficient system available in today’s market. It brings more games, entertainment and excitement to the players, who have a chance to win several jackpots accumulated from all terminals being operated.

VLT systems also make it possible for operators to control all the terminals in real time as well as supervisory authorities such as the Ministry of Finance. All Synot’s terminals are connected through a secure private network to the central server-based system, which controls the course of the games and ensures maximum security of all data.

Synot has also recently invested tens of millions of Czech crowns in a new, up-to-date data centre at its headquarters in Uherske, providing an even higher level of service to a larger number of VLTs and enabling further expansion.
